Unger Factory has been revitalised with a new distinct design, resulting in a stronger brand identity that differenciate them from their competitors.

Background:

Unger is one of Europe’s leading producers of anionic surfactants, and the only one of it’s kind in Scandinavia. Unger manufactures and exports a wide variety of surfactant raw materials applied in household detergents, personal care and institutional products, as well as functional additives for industrial applications. In an increasing competitive market Unger saw a need to update their brand to differenciate themselves from international competitors.

 

Solution:

Through close collaborations and workshops with the internal team and stakeholders, we clarified and mapped out the core value of the business and analysed their current- and their desired market position. Focusing on their Scandinavian heritage and the tagline "Pure Nordic Quality" we created a more coheseve brand experience and a unique selling point. Clarifying and structuring their product categories, including new brand imagery, has made the business more accessible and clear for their B2B customers and business partners.
