SquareRoot

The urban room has a huge potential for dampening climate change effects through green spaces. SquareRoots platform helps real estate developers, landscape architect and municipalities plan and create greener cities to meet sustainability goals by providing all green sources in one place.

SquareRoots identity was created to represent the platform. The intertwined letters in the logotype behave as growing roots, while the the asterisk symbol (*) is used as both a footnote helping to explain the business as an unknown startup, as well as acting as a symbol for green urban spaces and sustainable cities. Together with a strategic adviser we held workshops for the client, where my task was to take them through the design journey leading to a final outcome.
